Michael Vick is an National Football League (NFL) quarterback who played 13 seasons in the National Football League, primarily with the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and The New York Jets. I am going to be telling you about the historic career of Michael Vick. He was kind of a really crazy and fun dude. We will just start off by me telling you that his 40 yard dash time was 4.25 seconds. That is very fast, and if you convert that too how long a football field is. Mike Vick could run down a 100 yard field just a little over 10 seconds.
He started his great legendary career at the University of Virginia Tech. He showed his early talents their with his incredible arm and lighting fast speed in 2000s. Everybody who watched him play the game dropped their jaw. Every coach and scout from the NFL were fighting hard to get the first pick and grab him.
In 2001 The Atlanta Falcons drafted Michael Vick with the first overall pick. He then played played 6 seasons with The Falcons. He made plays that people have never seen before. He changed the way people played quarterback also the way defenses approach him and other speed QB’s. Vick played in the Pro Bowl three times while on the Falcons.
Michael Vick made a turn for the worst in 2007, he was involved in a dogfighting ring. Vick was charged with 23 months in federal prison with cruel and inhumane actions. After serving his time in prison when 2009 came around the Philadelphia Eagles picked him up in free agency. He played 5 seasons there, he went to one Pro Bowl while in Philadelphia.
After Philadelphia his career went downhill. He knew he was nearing the end of his career. Vick played two more seasons. He played for the Steelers and Jets. Both for only one season each. He started a couple of games, but he was mostly a backup in the two cities. After leaving the Steelers in 2015, he spent the whole 2016 season on free agent. Vick knew it was time to retire. February 3, 2017 he officially retired from the National Football League.
Michael Vick had many great memories as a NFL Quarterback. Although Vick never took his turn in The White House meeting the President of The United States. He took his Atlanta Falcons to the 2004 NFC Championship Game. Ironically he lost too the Philadelphia Eagles. Which was the team he later joined in 2009. Also another cool thing that Vick experienced was he on the cover of Madden 2004. He was rated a 95 overall.
Michael Vick had a great career in all of the glorious cities that he played in. Everyone should definelty thank Vick for all memories. People around the world will talk about you for years too come. Hopefully you will live a long life, enjoy your retirement. You will always be the goat in my book.
