A Work In Progress by Asha Talukder
A work in progress is what I am,
Unwritten and stuck up in a head that seems to be a scam.
I have too many worries and try to get this done,
Alas, it seems to be no fun.
A work in progress is what i could be,
Leaving behind problems that are like raging bees.
I have no worries and do not think,
As I watch the night sky wink.
A work in progress is what i don’t want to see,
But my head does not make a plea.
I have too many worries and think too much,
And i’m working on this with a hunch.
A work in progress is what i had been before,
But i continued to strive more and more,
I have no worries but i think,
That I had nothing to fear when I said all of this just stinks!
